FENCE AND PALACE - Petrodvorets, St. Petersburg, Russia This is near the entrance to Peter the Great's amazing palace. Peter was so cool that, rather than settle for merely having your run-of-the-mill, gigantic, stunningly beautiful palace, he went to the trouble of having the garden installed with hidden fountains that would be set to spray unsuspecting guests. They still work today.
